The Division of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics provides a rich curriculum for students to systematically learn the basics of the interdisciplinary fields of both information and biological science covering everything from genes to individuals, and promotes education and research activities to foster leading researchers and industrial professionals.
The division covers an extensive range of research fields, including biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, bionanotechnology and biophotonics, and accepts students from various departments and divisions.

Information on laboratory visits
The Division of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics accepts visits by students and working people who are interested in the division.
We recommend that people who plan to take exams for the graduate school visit the laboratories and talk with teaching staff and students there.
People who wish to visit laboratories are kindly requested to contact “laboratory teaching staff” directly, or send an e-mail indicating the following information to “firstname.lastname@example.org.”
The person in charge will coordinate the date and time, and contact you later.
