graduated from the Laboratory of Information Media Environment in the 2008 academic year

I was interested in computer graphics and speech information processing fields, and I had the impression that I could acquire a broad range of skills from the basics to applied skills in the real world. That became my motivation.

Q1What did you learn in the laboratory? What do you think is helpful for your current job?

The specialized knowledge and programming skills I acquired through research activities are surely helpful. However, that is not all. I was able to acquire an attitude to actively work by using that knowledge and skills as a means to solve problems. I feel that it is very helpful.

Q2Why did you choose this division and this laboratory?

Q3Your future goal and a message for your juniors

Now I work as a member of society, and think that the biggest privilege that students has is that of time. A key point is to control your time while balancing study and hobbies. I hope that you will have various experiences that you can be proud of 5 or 10 years later, and that you will have fulfilling lives as a student.
