Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI)
Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) is a research grant program of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS); the program supports both basic and applied research in a wide spectrum of fields ranging from humanities and social sciences to natural sciences.
JSPS issues a quarterly newsletter KAKENHI-News (in Japanese), which runs features on the outcomes of the research supported by KAKENHI.
