Year of round anniversaries

2024 is a year full of round anniversaries. It'll be my 50th birthday, 25th Wedding Anniversary, 20th year of working at Hokkaido University.

For my parent's 50th wedding anniversary we flew with LCC to Sydney (where they were staying at my sister's) for a surprise party. We managed to keep it a secret for few months, but it wasn't easy :)

UPDATE 9/25: it was the last time I saw my mom in person...😢
