Multitasking at London
Presented a paper on RAG for trade security regulations at ICAAI 2024. Thanks to similar location, on my first day in London I managed to visit Turing Institute, Francis Crick Institute, and Google. Actually my plan was to visit DeepMind, but currently no visitors are allowed to DeepMind buildings, so I spent most of the day at the neighboring Google with my former student who graduated from our lab in 2011. His name is Tyson Roberts and he belongs to the famous Game Group at DeepMind working on SIMA🎮
Except talking about agent’s knowledge transfer between different world simulations (games), we enjoyed some Google-specific stuff, like eating vegan food at the cafeteria, playing chess, building Star Wars spacecrafts from Lego blocks and printing guns for "Watchdogs 2" game 🔫🤥 Tyson says hello to all his kouhai’s at the LML!
Fun fact: Tyson is the author of two characters on the internal glass walls of Google @ London. Both of them come from his favorite game, "Undertale" and my son will be over the moon about it, as it’s his favorite game as well 😱
