General Conference 2023


We gave five oral presentations (General session) and one special commemorative speech (OPE Outstanding Student Award) at the 2023 IEICE General Conference held at Saitama, Japan, from March 7-10.

  • Nakamura (2nd year of doctor degree at the time of presentation), “High-tolerance mode multiplexer based on 3-stage cascaded wavelength insensitive coupler.”
  • Nishijima (2nd year of master degree at the time of presentation), “Control of group delay spread in ring-core fiber with off-axis air inner cladding.”
  • Muratsubaki (2nd year of master degree at the time of presentation), “Dual mode 3-dB power splitter based on quasi-adiabatic coupler for the 2 µm wavelength band.”
  • Maeda (1st year of master degree at the time of presentation), “A study on Peltier-free Si wavelength filter using a Mach–Zehnder interferometer toward DWDM applications.”
  • Konishi (4th year of bachelor degree at the time of presentation), “A study on characteristics of group delay spread in heterogeneous coupled two-core fibers designed by zero modal dispersion condition.”
