Wireless Technologies for Future

Recently, mobile phones have become one of the core social infrastructures through their dramatic spread since the 1990s. Also, a variety of wireless communication technologies have been required on various occasions: broadband wireless access such as WLAN and WMAN, short-range wireless communications, e.g., bluetooth, wireless USB, RFID, etc., high-mobility communications including ETC, vehicle navigation systems, vehicle-to-vehicle communications, and so on. Meeting these growing demands in wireless fields is the mission for us, and it will contribute to the future public welfare where anyone benefits from the information technology (IT) "anytime, anywhere," i.e., the ubiquitous network society.

Our research topics are mainly in the area of wireless signal processing for practical communication systems satisfying such demands.
