Prof. Tsuitsui’s presentation on HU-UTS collaborative research project at FOOMA JAPAN 2021

Prof. Tsutsui, a member of the CCB HU unit, participated in the FOOMA JAPAN 2021 Academic Plaza as an exhibitor and made presentations. FOOMA JAPAN is the largest trade show of food machinery and food processing technologies in Asia, and this year it was held from June 1st to 4th at Aichi Sky Expo. The booth and presentation title is “Promoting Wagyu beef traceability between Australia and Japan using blockchain and IoT technologies.” This is an international collaborative research project with Prof. Ohgane from HU Unit and Dr. He from UTS Unit.

This project was supported by the Australia-Japan Foundation to promote the food tracking technology, which uses blockchain to tap into IoT capabilities along the Wagyu beef supply chain.
